Fun Time for Mama!!!

Tonya has had a couple of fun nights out on the town with her girlfriends as of late... (woohoo!!!) Gal pals Kathleen Snyder and Erin Farmer were out to visit from North Carolina the week before Halloween. We had a great time hanging out and indulging in decadent dinners; one of which was an awesome sushi-fest at Ten where Christine and Jackie met up with us, followed by a night-cap at Kitsch bar. The second big night out was last night to celebrate the twins (Jackie and Christine) birthday at Port in Corona del Mar. We had a blast and friends Marlena and Katie joined in the fun. And in case you didn't already know, brunette is the new blonde!!! :-)

Belated Happy Birthday to David...
We did celebrate David's birthday on the actual day... I just lagged in posting the pics. :-) Auntie Amanda and Uncle Paul (actually cousins but we like the sound of Auntie and Uncle best!) and cutie cousin Grace McKenna visited with us that day and shared in the birthday cake celebration. Gavin also sat in his bumbo for the first time. He hung out in it for a good long while, though he has refused to sit in it since. :-(
Thanksgiving 2007
Gavin's first Thanksgiving holiday was a lovely event. :-) Grandma Dottie and Aunt Vera travelled from Washington to spend the week with us. They squeezed in a golf outing (Dottie's first time out!) and a trip to the beach. Aunt Janice McFarland and Great-Grandma Ruby (David's 93 year old grandmother) were in OC visiting from Colorado, and joined us for dinner Wednesday night along with Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Gordon who live locally in San Clemente. It was a wonderful evening!

Halloween
Our little boy's first spooktacular holiday was a quiet one... we spent the evening at home passing out candy to trick-or-treaters. No costumes for the family, just a festive onesie for Gavin. David won a $100 prize in a pumpkin carving contest... check out the pictures of his work of art "Hannibal the Cannibal Pumpkin."
